ZAMA COMPANY HISTORY
Today Zama is the largest diaphragm carburetor manufacturer in the world, with more than 180 million carburetors sold since 1975. The company was founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1952 as a diecasting company serving Japanese automotive fuel systems customers and continues in this business along with the carburetor business.
Zama is still a family held company with small company values such as customer satisfaction as its foundation, while able to compete very well worldwide and ever changing technology of today’s fuel systems business.
